Hospitality Bags are a great way to welcome guests who have traveled from near and far to celebrate with you.
Greeting your guests with a few essentials when they arrive at their hotel room is a nice way to show your appreciation. They can be assembled by a professional (we love Gracious Goodies) or you can buy items in bulk and DIY. These bags (or boxes) usually include a couple bottles of water, chips or cookies, aspirin, mints and an informational note or booklet. We love to use this as another opportunity to give your guests a glimpse of what’s to come. Consider incorporating your color scheme with a ribbon or colored bag, or include a motif like a starfish or shell for a beach wedding. If you are using canvas bags, we like to keep the bag itself relatively generic so that your guests can use it again. More personal touches, such as your monogram, can be used on water bottle labels or snack packaging. We also recommend including an information card or booklet. This can include: a weekend itinerary so your guests know when and where all festivities will be taking place; any necessary contact information; and things to do locally (restaurants, bars, tourist attractions).
