2016 Favorites: Round 1

Fat Cat Paperie Inspiration, Real Weddings

It’s that time of year again… time to look back and revisit some of our favorite invitations and announcements from the past year. We are so grateful to have worked with so many wonderful clients in 2016. We truly enjoy the creative process whether it involves brainstorming up a completely custom design or finding the perfect shade of gold for a classic invitation. We love it all and we are so appreciative of everyone who has trusted us with their special day.

Without further ado, here are just a few of our 2016 favorites…

Wedding Invitation with hand-torn edgeKristen + Tyler

This invitation is perfectly classic, which was exactly what Kristen and her mom had in mind. It’s all about pretty fonts on beautiful paper. It also shows off a hand-torn edge for an unexpected touch.

The happy couple exchanged vows at Saints Philip and James Roman Catholic Church in Saint James, New York. Dinner and dancing followed at Bourne Mansion in Oakdale.

Letterpress wedding invitation with floral envelope linerDiana + Jeremy

We love this invitation so much that it managed to make this list two years in a row! This time around, it provided the perfect first impression for Diana and Jeremy’s September wedding at the New York Botanical Garden.

This beautiful invitation was printed on super thick bamboo paper and accompanied by a romantic rose envelope liner.

Blush and Gold Invitation with Cane Paper, Sea ThemeMadison + Fabian

Texture always adds a luxurious element to an invitation. Blush and cane paper was a lovely combination for Madison and Fabian’s destination wedding in Mexico.

Pink watercolor and foil birth announcementClio’s Birth Announcement

We love celebrating life’s special occasions with our clients. We first met Melissa when she was a bride-to-be looking for her wedding invitations. Next came adorable letterpress baby announcements for her first daughter. This past year we were excited to find out that Melissa was expecting her second child, another sweet little girl. Our invitation consultant, Tara, had so much fun brainstorming with Melissa to come up with this fabulous pink watercolor and rose gold combination. We’re so in love!

Foil and letterpress wedding invitation on bamboo paperJessica + Logan

I think it’s safe to say that we’re suckers for foil here. This tawny foil adds just the right amount of glamour to a sophisticated invitation like this one.

Jessica and Logan celebrated their autumn wedding at The Royalton Mansion in Roslyn, New York.

Check back next week to see more of our favorites!
