2015 Favorites: Part 1

Fat Cat PaperieInspiration, Real Weddings

As 2015 winds down, we would like to take a few moments to express how grateful we are to have worked with such wonderful clients over the past year. It has been a year filled with all types of fun and exciting events — from traditional black and gold affairs to a whimsical vintage circus extravaganza.

Here are some of our FAVORITE invitations from this past year.

2015 Favorites: Part 1, Carla + Christopher

Carla and Christopher
We had so much fun working with Carla and her mom to design this stunning, custom black and gold invitation with damask details. They wanted something truly special so that their guests would be impressed from the start… mission accomplished.

2015 Favorites: Part 1, Caroline's Sweet 16

Caroline’s Sweet 16
Pink, lucite AND glitter paper? Yes please! This invitation was made complete with floral details that the birthday girl drew herself. Her elaborate party at The Edison Ballroom is certainly something her guests will be talking about for years to come.

Whimsical fonts, twine and kraft paper — the perfect combination for a rustic wedding at Martha Clara Vineyards.

Nicole and Robert, Damask Pocket Invitation

Nicole and Robert
Aqua has been so popular amongst Fat Cat brides lately. We love the way this pretty ivory and gold damask pocket folder looks with just a few pops of color.

Corey and Brian, Letterpress Pocket

Corey and Brian
This letterpress pocket suite is just like a tuxedo — crisp, classic and formal. It was a lovely compliment to their wedding at de Seversky Mansion.

Nicole and Paul, Beach Pocket Invitation

Nicole and Paul
This invitation is quickly turning into a favorite amongst the Fat Cat brides. It has a little bit of everything — ribbons, a pocket, shimmering gold ink and cute little nautical motifs.

Deanna and Jason, Letterpress and Woodgrain Invitation

Deanna and Jason
It was so much fun working with barn-wedding bride Deanna to create her woodgrain, letterpress invitation. Look out for her beautiful Hallockville Farm wedding on the blog in a few weeks!

2015 Favorites: Part 1, Vintage Circus

Catie and Michael
I love it when a couple comes in with a truly unique concept for their wedding. When I first met Catie she said “The theme is vintage circus and the invitation has to have elephants on it!” It was so much fun working with her to design this one-of-a-kind invitation suite.
