Hi Everyone! This is Katie, Fat Cat’s Art Director and the writer behind these blog posts. Everyday I have the pleasure of helping so many wonderful brides and grooms design the wedding stationery of their dreams. Over the past two years, I have had the joy of planning my own wedding. As you can imagine, it was SO much fun designing and planning every aspect of our big day, from wrapping twine around our engagement party invitations and sewing little flags onto our save the dates to picking out my wedding dress and hand painting table number signs.
My sweetie and I were so fortunate to exchange vows on a beautiful, sunny day this past May on a farm in Pennsylvania. The ceremony was held in a field under an old oak tree accompanied by a bluegrass trio and horses in the distance. During cocktail hour, guests played bocce and corn hole while sipping on our signature drinks — Firefly lemonade for the bride, straight whiskey for the groom. We all ended the night on the dance floor singing along to classic rock under the twinkling white barn lights.
